We hiked to Munson Falls which was very serene to see Munson Creek Falls which tumbles 319', making it the tallest waterfall in the Coast Range; however, we could not get close to the falls, the trail was closed because of fallen trees and washed out trail sections. It still was magnificent. We then drove to the Tillamook Air Museum housed in the only remaining World War II Wood Blimp Hanger. There use to be two - Hanger A and Hanger B. Hanger A burnt down in 1992 when it was used to store several thousand bales of hay. it is an amazing structure with lots of vintage World War II planes as well as a wonderful Historical exhibit about World War II. It is an exhibit that is a must see when in the Tillamook area. We found Quilt symbols on business, barns, airports, etc in the County of Tillamook. These symbols started on the East Coast. We did not see all of them, but we got pictures of a lot of them.
