I came off my night shift a little early today because Dad was sleeping better, and Mother would be coming in soon this morning. I caught a few winks at my sister’s house before they took me back to the airport to fly back to Casa Grande. As I was flying over the Banning area (both directions) I could see that San Gorgonio Mountain had a snowy top, as well as the Big Bear/Arrowhead mountains.
While I was gone, Larry got the rails for the hitch installed and purchased a large tool box for the bed of the truck. He also experienced more little problems with the rig, needing to mop up a leak under the sink and having to go to Mesa for a part, which I helped find online while in California. Such teamwork, even while separated.
