We stopped at South Beach Deli and Fish Market for Halibut and onion rings, we watched them boil dinginess crabs. We visited the Yaquina Bay Historical lighthouse, it was only in service for 3 years while the Yaquina Head Lighthouse was built. The Bridge over Yaquina Bay is a beautiful structure and is featured on the cover of the AAA Oregon guide book. We then drove to the Yaquina Head lighthouse, were we saw Harbor seals and thousands of birds (gulls, Pelagic and Brandt's cormorants, and black oystercatchers), the coast line is spectacular.
