Eric and Buddy's Amazing Adventure travel blog

Today I drove several hours to Hood River Oregon. I met up with a previous co-worker (Bob S) who showed me many of the sites in the area. We did a 13 mile round trip hike to an awesome waterfall that you walk behind in a tunnel.

Hood River is a wind sport heaven. The Columbia river offers a huge amount of space to play. The biking and hiking here are also excellent. They do have snowy winters for skiing fun on Mount Hood.

Buddy and I also hiked a location called Deschutes River State Recreation area. Bob suggested the place but warned to watch for rattlesnakes and Buddy and I for the first time in 9000+ miles walked past one waiting for the sun to come out.
