With the outside temperature of only 50 degrees this morning, we sat inside to share our coffee. Then I helped Marilyn clean the blinds. She continued to clean until she felt that the entire RV was clean inside.
I searched the cupboards for grocery items to make into a soup.
I decided to combine chicken broth, onions, celery, stewed tomatoes, garlic, pasta, and some spicy smoked sausage sliced into small chunks. Before I post this blog, I’ll let you know how it turned out.
The sky was overcast here in the mountains this morning, which is rare for this time of year, and the temperature remained cool all day.
We hardly left the RV today, really taking a day of rest.
Marilyn took a short nap and worked on her cross-stitching project.
I watched some of my DVD collection entitled WWII.
We tried several times to connect with Jennifer and the grandkids but the Wi-Fi was terribly slow.
Marilyn walked down to the office to call her on the phone.
Marilyn sat with me as she looked up some tasty sounding recipes.
Speaking of food type of stuff, the soup I made earlier today turned out pretty good but not outstanding. I wish I had used chicken instead of the smoked sausage.
In any case, it has been a restful day and tomorrow we’ll get started on another day with a few chores and some fun stuff.
