What an amazing sunrise we were greeted with, looks like its going to be a lovely day. First thing is to find the Information centre as they can show us pamphlet on all the attractions in the area, the lady there was very helpful,we grabbed the list of touristy things to do and off we set. First attraction was the Greenough Museum it was formerly the home of early pioneer and (king of Greenough Flats) John Maley the museum examines the social life from aboriginal times until today.
Second attraction was Central Greenough Historic Settlement where we had lunch.
The Greenough Front Flats were settled in the 1850s and Central Greenough formed the community hub for a once thriving pioneer farming settlement 11 historical buildings had been restored.
Before we went back to camp we drove to Ellendale Pools which is another place that you can camp for $5 a night however it was like so many others to crowded but a nice spot,we are happy with our choice to camp in a paddock and watch the sun rise and set, which is exactly what we did.
