Happy Easter Everyone!

We got up early this morning so we could make the sunrise service at 7:00 A.M. We drove over to Crystal Beach, Texas. For the past 23 years, the Peninsula Ministerial Alliance has sponsored the CRYSTAL BEACH EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE. They had a 40’ mobile bandstand on the beach lit up with musicians playing and the choir and singles singing beautiful songs. I loved the way they took a Fats Domino song and turned it into a Christian song. Blueberry Hill became Calgary Hill.

People were lined up all over the beach in chairs, cars and even golf carts with coffee watching the sun come up. We tried to count how many people were there, it must have been at least 1,000 people. They had several pastors from local churches, all of them preached great sermons. It was a wonderful Easter service. The sounds of the roaring Gulf and the sight of the birds in flight while the sun rises is an Easter sight to cherish. It was awesome! I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Check back later for more from Texas.
