Hi Everybody

Yesterday I took a bus 90 kilometers north of Madrid To this most beautiful city of Segovia. Small city, more of a town, with the walled old city, a nice cathedral, Impressive Castle, that they claim that Walt Disney did his fairy tale castle on this one..........(A bit exaggerated.) Cobble stone narrow streets, with lovely old buildings, and an Impressive Aqueduct build by the Romans, in AD 50 to bring water from 18 KM away. It is 894mt long 28mt high and has 163 arches.

The town is on a hill with a valley all round it and left all green. It is really beautiful.

Of course I had to walk all day near and far to see the castle from a distance, and at the end of the day, my legs are wobbly and the trip back to Madrid seemed never ending, that I crushed to sleep as I got home.

This morning I plan to stay in Madrid and check out two things that i still need to see here.

till later,

Best Regards Tony
