|I love winter days when you can have the windows and the door open. The sun shining brightly, not a cloud in the sky, and a temperature in the mid-seventies. Add in a gentle breeze, the mountains and saguaro cactus for scenery, and you have it all.
We do love this high desert climate!
Marilyn & I made a run to Walmart this morning, braving the traffic heading past our resort to the Renaissance Festival, just three miles down Highway 60 from us. We haven’t decided to attend that activity yet, although we would enjoy the fun. It is the crowds and heavy traffic which holds us back.
When we returned with our few grocery items, I fired up the grill and put chicken on. I had seasoned the chicken with garlic and a mix of red & black pepper, along with a bit of salt.
I had the Blues Hog BBQ Sauce ready to add when the chicken was nearly done.
Marilyn fixed the side dish and lunch was soon ready. I must say that it was delicious, too!
Marilyn did several loads of laundry and then took her book to the bedroom while I watched basketball on TV.
We noticed new neighbors, moving in, with South Dakota License Plates. We’ll talk to them tomorrow probably.
Speaking of License Plates, we received our mail a few days ago and all three of our vehicles had the license renewal in the mail.
Today I put the new tags on all three of our vehicles and then placed the Registration in the proper place.
Our internet was out of service all afternoon. I don’t know what was going on.
Using the neighbor's Wi-Fi to post this.
