|The weather has been cooler than we like so we haven’t done much since Friday.
When we awoke this morning it was only 56 degrees inside so I turned the furnace on, only to discover that we were out of propane, just as Marilyn said. LOL
I dressed and made a quick run around the RV to open the valve on the spare bottle of propane.
Now we are toasty warm and I have a chore to complete, by getting that empty bottle filled.
Tomorrow we’ll start getting ready for our road trip to Yuma and across the border to Los Algodones, Mexico.
Our plan is to get new glasses while we are down there. We also want to pick up some vanilla and some meds while we have the chance to do so. We may also scout out a few places where we might want to spend part of a winter in the future.
Of course spending time with Bob & Janet and Trent & Teresa is at the top of our list. We should have a good time.
We hope to make another road trip, maybe next month, up to Zion and Bryce National Parks.
Once we leave here and begin our journey back to Missouri, we want to visit some interesting places along the way, and plan to visit with relatives who live in Deming, NM.
We will make a stop in Elk City, Oklahoma, to have some minor repairs done on the RV.
Once we arrive back in Missouri we’ll be spending all of the time possible with our kids and grandkids. Of course I will be leading tours of the Mark Twain Cave and the Cameron Cave in Hannibal.
We plan to remain in that area until Memorial Day and then be on the road again, headed to Colorado for the summer.
We look forward to that time because we love that area. However, Marilyn & I both talk about where we might want to settle down if and when we get off the road. Both of us agree that Arizona is at the top of our list at this time. We really like it here!
We just haven’t found our spot in Arizona yet. We know it isn’t this resort but we’ll keep looking.
We’ll be back in Missouri next fall, before heading south to Texas for the winter. Our plan is to travel the Natchez Trace from Tupelo, MS, to Natchez, and then go on to Abbeville, staying at Betty’s RV Park for a few days, where we’ll enjoy the Cajun food, Music, and fun at Betty’s gatherings on her patio.
One night in Beaumont, Texas, and then we’ll head on down to Llano Grande RV Resort for the winter.
We look forward to seeing our friends who are or will be in the RGV and the fun at South Padre Island and in Progreso, Mexico, along with the BBQ competition, Rodeo, and other fun things in the Valley.
Sure hope we meet up with some of you dear readers along the way.
I don’t know how long we will be able to live this wonderful life but we do know that we are blessed every day.
Life is Good!
