Dave & Pat Argentina by motorhome 2013 travel blog

2/6/2013 Patagonia Winds! You have not lived until you drive a motorhome in the winds that Patagonia is known for. Hour after hour of flat lands and high winds brought us to the little village of Esperanza. This small village was a welcome sight as our fuel gauge was registering 0 fuel. The winds ate fuel a lot faster than normal. Top speed today was 80K (50mph). No camping park here so we asked the restaurant if we could park in their lot and was given permission. Overall a good night being as we had a full fuel tank and only 180K to our destinatio9n of El Calafate, home of the glaciers.
