Marilyn & I had just begun our morning in the usual manner when our daughter called.
We talked for awhile and enjoyed the visit, even on the phone.
We had chores to do, so after some breakfast we got busy.
Marilyn cleaned inside the RV while I cleaned the truck.
Marilyn began packing for our road trip adventure to the Grand Canyon, once I had retrieved the luggage. I also grabbed binoculars and the two fanny packs we keep for hiking adventures.
I cooked some boneless pork loin on the grill, adding Blues Hog BBQ Sauce when they were nearly finished cooking.
Marilyn fixed her onion, celery and cheese dish to go with the pork.
We had called our friends to let them know we were having a Happy Hour at our place this afternoon at 3:00.
The 80 degree temperature with clear skies and no wind made it too nice to be inside.
The gang of eight gathered at our Site at 3:00 in the afternoon.
Bob & Janet, Trent & Teresa, and Henry & Pam joined Marilyn & I for Happy Hour, and the conversation, punctuated by lots of laughter, never waned.
The fun and merriment continued until it began to get dark.
The group broke up with hugs and went separate ways for the night.
Tomorrow some of us will be off to the Grand Canyon, while others will be heading in a different direction.
The winter fun is passing faster and faster, as we all look forward to the next get-together.
Remember to check back with us as I will be unable to post a blog while we are away. We will return to posting the journal on Thursday or Friday
