The temperature dipped below freezing last night. We remained toasty warm all night but poor Bob ran out of propane in the bottle he was using and had to go outdoors at 3:00 this morning, to change the system over to the full bottle.
Later this morning, I rode with Bob to get the empty bottle filled at $2.69 per gallon.
Bob and I were talking about the cold weather and agreed that it doesn’t seem so bad when the sun shines brightly, the humidity is extremely low, and there is no wind at all.
Those winters back in Missouri, with solid, gray, overcast skies, high humidity and strong, gusty wind, seem even colder and more miserable than they really are.
Back at the RV, Lee walked over with his laptop computer.
I tried to help him download some software and finally called our buddy/expert, Jesse in Las Vegas for some help.
With his help we accomplished the mission just fine.
Betty came over and joined in the fun. We gave these good folks a tour of our rolling land yacht and enjoyed visiting with them.
We made some plans for tomorrow and I sent out an email to let the gang know what was up.
As the time for Football drew near, I got busy cooking up some comfort food for a late lunch/early dinner.
Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage, Onions, Potatoes, and Cabbage all cooked together is delicious.
Trust me when I say that it tastes even better from the comfort of a recliner with a football game on the TV. LOL
The football game was really good with both teams fighting until the end and a score that went back and forth. Fun to watch!
All in all, it has been a fine day with lots of relaxation, time with some friends, and football on TV.
Life is Good!
