Happy birthday La!!! I am working on pictures, but have to get them to a size that they will accept. Hang in there. Well, we finally saw it! The Grand Canyon. We now know how it got its name! What an amazing place! It should be on everyone's bucket list. There is no way to describe it, it has to be experienced. We left early one morning. We stopped and saw Sunset Crater. A volcano that blew a 1,000 years ago, and still show the effect it had on the surrounding area. Pretty, in a strange sort of way. From there we stopped at another ruin. The Wapatki Ruins. It really humbles a person when you think that there were so many civilizations before us. The world did not begin when we came! Who would have thought? Thousands of people living there, and now they are gone. Where did they go, and why? We have seen so many great sites, we were afraid we would be disappointed with the Grand Canyon. How could it be better? We were not disappointed in the least! I highly recommend everyone put northern Arizona, and southern Utah on their bucket list. You can go 20 miles in any direction from here, and see so many things. I know I am repeating myself. We have been hanging around the park, resting up. I have been fixing a few things on the motor home. Just like a house, always something to do. On the way done, we lost the blower on the dash heat. I put in a new motor, and we a back in business. We also lost radio reception on the way down. When I looked on the roof, we had lost the antennae. Of course it wasn't a matter of just putting on a new one, so today, I have to mount a new one. Oh well, these are just minor things. It has been a wonderful machine for us.
Well, I am going to get busy. Have a great day.
