|Boston is a small, beautiful and steeped in American history,
Unfortunately, I am not an American History buff. I followed the Freedom trail and found out a lot that I didn't know about the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party.
It's funny to see how the city has built itself around some of it's key historical buildings like the Old State House, the seat of British colonial government from 1713 to 1776. The Boston Massacre took place in front of the balcony.
I also explored the famous North Church from where the famous "One if by land, and two if by sea" signal is said to have been sent warning to Patriots in Charlestown that the British where advancing by sea.
One thing I have noticed about older churchs in America is rather than traditional pews found in churches elsewhere, the floor is partitioned off into box enclosures that belong to different families and house the pews inside.
