Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

We are still trying to get used to the time change and awake several times in the early morning before getting up for the day.

I showered and dressed in shorts and a knit shirt, ready for the day!

We shared a pot of coffee before getting started.

It has been eleven days since we left Hannibal and the laundry has piled up, so Marilyn began doing laundry.

One more thing, the fridge problem caused us to keep very few groceries on hand, so we needed a serious shopping trip to the grocery store, mainly for refrigerated items.

We put the Apache Junction Walmart coordinates into the GPS and drove directly there.

Soon we headed back to the RV to put groceries away.

While Marilyn continued with getting things in order I went to the Multi-Purpose building to set up a mail box for our mail.

Once that was complete, I called our mail service provider to give them our new address.

I then called Bob to see how they were doing.

They let me know that they will be on the way here before long and we expect them later today. (I am writing this part of the journal in the mid-day)

What I want to do now that we have Wi-Fi service, is to get pictures posted for the entire journey from Hannibal to Gold Canyon.

I have the pictures posted but no captions added yet. Please be patient with me as we have so much to get done and it seems that we want it all done Now!

I worked outdoors, then sat for awhile in the reclining lounge chair, with my eyes closed, a nice breeze wafting over me. This is a very quiet, peaceful, place and the climate with 14% humidity today, is wonderful.

Bob & Janet called a few minutes ago saying they will soon be here at the resort.

We were happy to see our friends arrive.

Once Bob & Janet were all set up next to us, Bob & I sat outdoors on the patio with a cold drink, talking about our trip and some future travel plans.

It is a good day and we are glad our friends are safely here.

Now it is easy to say that Life is Good!
