Eric and Buddy's Amazing Adventure travel blog

One of the annoying things about national parks is that dogs can only be walked on paved paths and parking lots. Some of them only allow the parking lot and that’s it. Buddy and I headed out to “Kodachrome State Park” for some hiking and exploring. This state park only requires that the dog be a on a leash but all trails are okay. By using my 25 foot retractable leash with Buddy and clipping it on my belt loop, Buddy can explore a bit ahead of me while I hold my camera etc. My only concern is that if Buddy goes after a squirrel I might have my pants yanked off. So far he has been great on hikes with the tether. This park was a nice quiet place to hike and it did have some nice rock features to explore. Not a "must-see" spot but if you want a nice quiet place to camp and hike it works nicely.

Not many photos and they will be uploaded soon.
