We did a bit of exploring today. We drove about 50 miles from Denver to the Clear Creek Canyon Park. The drive was incredible with steep canyon walls and crystal clear water.
We saw people fishing for trout and a lot of people were panning for gold. We wished we had known about the gold panning in the area, we would have loved to pan for gold, but we were not prepared.
The leaves on the trees in the canyon are flaming with beautiful colors. We went through three tunnels in the area. It was a breathtaking drive and we enjoyed it much. We highly recommend this awesome scenic drive if you are in the area.
We will be leaving in the morning heading toward Kansas if our mail arrives. :-) We expected it today and it is late.
I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Check back later for more from somewhere in Kansas.
