|Returned to Cahill's crossing for high tide and another fishing opportunity. More action today with 4 crocs sitting above crossing waiting for the mullet to cross with the tide. They were within 10mts from bank. Scary how they can pop up and disappear from the top of the water without a ripple. The crocs had more luck with their fishing than Guy and Hayden. Then went to the Mamukala bird hide to watch all the water birds at one of the flood plains. Protected internationally due to the migrating magpie geese. Viewed the geese, jacanas, egrets, ibis, herons, whistling ducks, pelicans.....More water lillies as far as the eyes could see. Afternoon by the pool back at our campsite at Jabiru. Evening talk at the campground by the rangers on the '6 seasons of Kakadu".
