4 October. Not much to report today drove out to Gibson Soak Pub for lunch. They say in the advert that no one leaves hungry and they are correct, no one left hungry.

5 October. Our last day in a West Australian Caravan Park, we set off on the morning tide tomorrow to wend our way home. We will be eating out tomorrow night: out in the middle of nowhere - we intend to free camp about 50 km east of Balladonia… Balladonia has even less than Cann River a servo and a ‘Bush Camp’ and some space junk are about it.

Today we filled our fridge and freezer as there are not that many Supermarkets between Norseman and Ceduna. Most likely we will be out of mobile range so there will be no updates till we get coverage. Also making sure all our battery powered kit is fully charged as we won’t have 240 V power unless I fire up the Gerberator, the noise of which will ensure no one stops near us.

We had a bit of a walk around town today, on the Tanker Jetty and thru town. Its funny here you can walk right up to the sea lions and poke them with a stick (not advisable) but on Kangaroo Is you can get to see them thru Binos even though the adverts show people very close to them….
