'Barnie' making his rounds

We drove by a artisian cafe in Alma last night that we wanted to try for Breakfast. What a great treat it was. The place had lots of character and a great breakfast sandwich. They had the best coffee that I have tasted in years. It was an unique place that made it memoriable.

We had an intermediate stop in Saint John New Brunswick on our way to Blacks Harbour to do laundry. The laundromat was located downtown in the old district. We were a little concern with the neighborhood but we walk around the block and our concerns were gone. It was the theater area with lots of young people and people just hanging around. Everyone was friendly.

We met a local lady at the Fundy National Park that told us about the quaint town of St. Andrew. We decided to drive there for dinner. Boy, was it a neat place. It is a resort town right on the bay. September is off season and many places were closed. But we had a choice of about 5 restaurants. We choose 'The Gables Restaurant' because of it's unique appearance and it's shoreside seating. Well, the food was not great and the service was ok.

Happy Birthday to our daughter-in-law, Lisa. We wish you a wonderful day!

I have pictures but internet service is not good. I will post pictures when I can.
