Left manchester after going to the soccer stadium. THey had a great soccer musuem and then you toured the arena. Went even to the locker rooms and players lounge. lol lisa had a great time...
The same person is in charge of the new psrts musuem of britian. it should be good.
in glastonbury. Imagine all the religions of the world and some i never heard of are all connected to this small country town. Glaston bury is historical but also a bit odd. While sitting at the outside cafe i saw the following walk past, a hippie chic with lil clothes on, witches, goddesses, nun, tourists. It is a strange town but pretty. Went into the many shops some are all trying to cash in on the varous theories about the area. King author was buried here, mary madeline sought refuge at the church that Christ's uncle helped find, they have the red water well ( made red becuase the holy grail is near by) and the white well ( healing powers). THe TUR a church on this massive hill that is said to be the spot where avalon was.
Like i said very odd but interesting. Tonight is a full moon so who knows what will happen!
Rooming with a harvard grad student who is writing for lonely planet and the discover channel was here filming. Something is bound to happen.
