Dolphin Interaction Centre

Eating Lunch

Bright and sunny today, bit of a morning chill but soon turned into a glorious day.

The plan as you may recalls was Dolphins and Vanilla slices so after breaky (a fruit compote in anticipation of delights yet to come) we made for the “Dolphin Interaction Centre”. We joined a tour but could not hear much due to the fact that the guide seemed only interested in talking quietly to a few around her. A few Dolphins were on hand but did not interact with anyone so our visit to Monkey Mia was worth the effort. The digital Dolphinarium was a very interesting experience Cleverly done in a 360 degree video image with Dolphins and fish etc. swimming around, my first reaction was to want to swim to the surface for air, very well done.

Then it was on to the Patisserie for some lunch. Carol indulged in a spinach & ricotta roll while I managed to eat a French Vanilla slice, very nice it was too.

Then over the road to the old railway station for a look around then back to the Van stopping enroute to fill a bottle with grey sand for use on the LVET.

Tomorrow we are off to Yarloop to meet up with some friends from the Baby Boomers Forum.
