Loopy juice jules

| Drove to Queenstown stopping at the original bungy site. Started to snow a little and was freezing - so we only watched a couple of people jump outside then watched from the safety and warmth of the big screen inside! Drove to our hostel - Bungi backpackers... hmmmmmm. A dorm of 6 - five blokes and me however we both got the last two top bunks! Not the worlds best hostel but it was sleepable! Went into town and ended up staying for the duration at World Bar where happy hour lasted a long time - drinking the local beer called Shingles loopy juice! bumped into a guy called stuart who we met at neighbours night in melbourne and spent the rest of the night with them until we literally had a dollar left. The weather was pretty miserable while we were there, and it rained every day. If you dont ski and you dont have money then there is not a lot to do so we ended up watching Mr and Mrs Smith and Madagascar back to back at the cinema. So as you can imagine - not many photos of queenstown... the photos summarise our time there pretty well! |
