Today's travels took us first to East Point Lighthouse, then along the northern tip of PEI, past the wind turbines and through several small fishing villages/harbours (all seen from the road). We cut across to the eastern side of the island to find a seafood lunch in Souris (where everyone shared a number of dishes, including haddock, bar calm, scallops, and lobster-stuffed mushrooms), then went to Basin Head Provincial park, planning to walk up the beach as far as we could, maybe even to Singing Sands. Well, we didn't quite make it to Singing Sands, but we did find some 'singing' sand, which we had fun with(along with the dunes).

We pulled into our campsite after dark, and the kids played a round of glow-in-the-dark mini-golf while Chuck and Kristy did laundry and made supper.
