Town Hall, might make this one for the LVET

Dropped Gracie of to day care early morning so we could venture into Perth.

Finding parking at Midland station was no problem for me The Gnomes had to drive at least 200 metres down the line.

It’s only 25 mins to Perth but the trains are really very fast trams on their own right of way still it was a quick quiet trip.

We had been advised by Mr Weevil to suss out the “Seniors Centre” at Perth Station and had Morning Tea there, good value for money and the toilets are clean. Then it was a walk downtown along the Murray St Mall and caught a “blue bus” to the Barrack St. Jetty were we wandered around, discovered that we’d need a Lottery win to get to Rottnest Is so had to settle for a trip on the cross channel ferry to South Perth.

The PS Decoy http://www.psdecoy.com/ is here for sale but I walked past along Mends St; the Café strip of South Perth looking for a suitable venue for lunch eventually after all others had been checked out we chose “Dome”. Great place to eat and quite a few in Perth.

Then it was back to Perth on the ferry, Blue Bus to where we got on followed by a walk around the block before finding our way back to the station and back to Midland where the cars were parked.

The weather was perfect and the total cost for the day out worked out at $4.40 for transport and around $20 for lunch (including drinks), Oh morning tea was about $5 for tea/coffee and cake…

Meanwhile back at doggie day care Gracie was being pampered playing with the other dogs and getting a bath but totally out of character she went berserk when she heard our voices.

Found a shop that sold zipper bags for our portable vacuum sealer bizzo and got back to the Van just in time for “Happy Hour” That was the day in a nutshell….
