Red sand and cliffs just about everywhere

We moved the motorhome to Mill River Provincial Park in the west end of the Island closer to where my former co-worker lives in O'Leary. Pauline was not able to meet with us so we toured the area around O'Leary and over to the west coast side. The area is very green, with small farms. The most noted crop is potatoes but we also saw wheat and other vegetables.

When we got to the coast we again saw the red stone cliffs and red sand. We took several pictures where the water looked red. I hope they turned out so you can see. The homes are lovely and mostly very well kept but there are a lot of "for sale" signs.

We picked up groceries and went back to the campsite. This campsite was set up very differently from any other we have seen. The sites are all grass with hookups set in groups of three in the middle of a circle so three units can set up with there backs to each other, or groups could face in to create a circle with services in the middle. Different but it worked.
