Got away nice and early before 6am and made it to Kumarina for our overnight stop, letting us arrive in Newman by 0800 next morning, just in time to catch Sharon leaving for school with the boys.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 11 days with them all - not a lot to do, but we had the boys on the days Sharon worked and had a ball with them both. RJay broke his arm on Tuesday so that constricted his activities over the next week we were there. Jacob really adapted to us very well for a little lad - behaved really well, slept when he needed to and best of all, he and his Grandad became the closest of mates. He even started saying our names before we left - two of about 4 words he uses!!!
We spent Sunday at the Fortescue Festival on the oval, then finished packing up, had our last afternoon with Sharon, Ken and boys, then hooked up, set the alarm and slept well until 0500 Monday (20th August). Hit the road at 0540 and pulled up at Kathy's in Walkaway 1000 kms and 11 hours later, so a really good run down.
