FRIDAY: Yesterday, I did WAY too much of working in shop. I don't think it had been cleaned since I did it 3 years ago. I used the air compressor to blow sawdust and cobwebs of the saws, drill press and some of the counter. Threw away empty containers and washed off the steel sink. Carried tarps outside to wash off as it rained most of the night.

Then in the afternoon, I re-arranged some material in the volunteer room to get ready for some sewing.

By 3 pm I was so hurting that I couldn't walk. I took some OTC pain meds and iced my knee until I could walk again and we went out for supper. In bed early as that was the only place I could be that didn't hurt. Fell asleep and woke at 2 bright eyed and bushy tailed so I got up and did some research on the computer. Back about 4 and slept until 7.

Today we worked a bit in the shop and then packed to go to Mark & Tara's this afternoon. We took the scenic route and bypassed the interstates and toll roads. Stopped in Hinckly, IL for some of the best pulled port I've had in a long time. It was super moist and the sauce was just the right amount of tang. If you are ever along Rt. 30 in IL, stop at South Moon Barbeque. It isn't big but it is GOOD.

Then we stopped at Vacationland RV in Big Rock and picked up the Maxxair cover for our vent. We also picked up a few other things as, as good Rvers, we can never go thru an RV accessory store without finding something we need.

We arrived at Mark's house after also stopping at Costco and stocking up on vitamins and supplements and another few things we probably don't need.

SATURDAY: Up early to go to the ice rink and watch the gang skate. We didn't get pictures of Mark and Tara during their lessons, but, of course, got pictures of DGD#6 (dear grand daughter) during her lesson. She is pretty good for a 6 year old and especially when you realize she is skating against 9 and 10 year olds. She has the skills and just needs her body to catch up with some strength.

We then went out to breakfast with Tara's Mom and John. John's brother and family were also there – but I don't remember any of the names. Good breakfast and sure didn't need lunch after that.

Back to the house for a nap and Ron and Mark discussed some home repairs that Mark wanted some advice. Steak dinner and an early evening.

Anyway that is the way our lives have been going. Hope you and yours are well and happy. ENJOY!!
