Blessings in Disguise Aug 6, 2012

After a chaotic morning in Springfield Missouri, we hit the road again in a new 2012 Honda Civic (our slight hiccup turned out to be a blown transmission/blessing from the dealership). Our new wagon rides like a dream and we blazed through the remainder of Missouri into Oklahoma. The rolling hills between Tulsa and OKC were inspiring to our moods. We did pass a few small fires and charred earth from the extreme heat and drought in the area. Lewis and Clark are feeling rejuvenated and plan on traveling through Albuquerque NM; destination Taos NM.
