We went to a neat gift shop near our RV park in MT. They had all kinds of stuffed animals and also stuffed dummies. LOL. You can see Larry has found a friend, a silent one, but a friend. I thought the coyote was unusual holding a squirrel in his mouth. We also found more ospreys nests. There was one that had a young bird that was quite large sitting in the nest and peeking over the side. He was responding to Larry who was whistling to him. The bird was very loud. I kept looking for the parent to come swooping down on us, but they did not. This morning we drove over into Canada via highway 93 north from Eureka, MT. We stopped at the custom gate and I had my cell phone in my hand. As the officer was talking to Larry my phone started to ring. The officer said do not answer that. I did not move. When we pull up to the booth to show our passports we just pulled up behind the car in front of us. The custom officer leaning out the window and told Larry to back up. There was a stop sign we did not notice. She told us we had better follow directions as there were officers with guns. We did manage to entered into Canada, believe it or not. LOL. The drive over was very scenic with the Rockies on one side and pretty rivers and lakes on the other. We went up highway 3 in British Columbia in Canada to Fernie and then on to Sparwood where the largest truck in the world is sitting in front of the visitor's center. This area has 5 coal mines that combined and formed the town of Sparwood back in the day. Larry finally got to stand next to the really big haul truck used in the open pit mines. Larry bought a ball cap with a picture of the big truck. After looking the truck over and over and over...we drove on to Crowsnest Pass which took us into Alberta. We ate lunch at a town called Coleman. I ate grilled salmon in Canada. It was delicious. We drove back and stopped in Fernie and I brought a Canada T shirt and we was able to get back into the USA without further incident. Well we will leave in the morning and head back southeast on Interstate 90 and go to Illinois and then to Ohio and then to Georgia. More later. Love, Alice and Larry
