| August 5, 2012 Okay, Anita told me not to say it so I will not say or use at any time the phrase, “Sweet Home Alabama”. It would be unoriginal and totally overused. So there. We left Florida, crossed into Alabama, some Buffaloes, before we could photograph them standing alongside some very small donkeys..who knew? We drove 300 miles today so it took awhile but we gained an hour, coming into the central time zone. We also saw some hills, which people living in Florida don’t often see. Makes the drive a bit more interesting because you have to pick up speed going down hill so you can push the coach and pull the car up those hills. Made it to the campground, even though it was closed. They were nice and sent us a note. We picked a different site. Take that KOA! See you. |
