| Today we left Dunmarra and travelled to Mataranka . The first spring we went to was Bitter Springs just outside of Mataranka. Those springs were the warmest we went to and it was full moss and tiny plants in it and was very very very deep. We had lunch here. The second spring we went to was the Mataranka Spring which were located at the Mataranka Homestead. Here we decided to stay for the night. These springs were cemented then covered with sand but it was not that deep. The boys swum here for ages. We then went to see the old replica homestead from the movie We Of Never Never. The boys went to the Kiosk to have an ice-cream treat. By the time Mum went, the kiosk was closed - not happy. |
