Decided to make today a down day. At $12.50/night, cheap down day. I only had a couple loads of laundry to do, so did get to make it a real down day.

Echo and I got out and headed to Charottetown in the afternoon. Had to go by the bank, post office, did some shopping down town and hit Sobey's for food for dinner. We'd decided to cook the last package of brats I had from Hermann, MO. Picked up some ready made potato salad and a few goodies to go with. We finally ate our "Cow Chips". They are hand made chocolate covered potato chips! So good!

We got up on Tuesday morning and said good-bye to Prince Edward Island. Had decided to stay the night at a Wal-Mart in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. We drove to the ferry to take us back to Nova Scotia only about a 30 mile drive. We stopped on the PEI side, parked the RV's and drove up the road to find some lunch before catching the ferry at 2:30. Found a great little cafe and had a great lobster sandwich.

The ferry ride was 14 miles and 75 minutes long. It was a beautiful day. We put Harvey in the "bowels" of the ship. Unbelievable how many cars, RV's and semis they could put on the ship.

Made it to Wal-Mart in New Glasgow. Headed towards the Cabot Trail tomorrow.

Take care ~ God Bless!
