We arrived in Coromendel Penninsula the next day around noonish, but realized that we really wanted to be on the other side of the Penninsula for another thing that we couldn't do due to the weather. So, we just drove again to the next stop, which was Tauranga and/or Mt Maunganiu for the Hot Springs, which at this point we needed for our unused and stiff muscles, strictly caused by all of the driving!!

It's about the closest thing to Paradise as you can get.

We spent the evening sitting in the hotsprings at Mt Maunganui and then found a nice little park with a 24 hr toilet to spend the night in our VERY SQUISHY LITTLE VAN (or as they call it "COSY").

Next stop Rotarua...................
