We had planned on staying a couple of days in Spearfish but due to the bike we stayed four nights in one of our favorite campsites. We walked a lot of the trails that followed the stream that supplies the fish hatchery, some gorgeous sights to see and the stream supplied music to the ears. On one of the walks looking for a deer with twins, we met the attendant at the power plant, who gave us a tour and supplied the history of how Spearfish came into acquiring the plant. Very interesting and a man that loved his job with a passion. The stay also gave us more time to visit with some friends(Tom, Anita, Jayne, Anna and her boys, Zackery and Chrisopher). It was great catching up and spending time with them. A big thanks to Anna for the use of her truck, Lucy, to let Jeanne, Janye and I go out for a ride through the Spearfish Canyon into Aladdin WY, population 15, for a stop at the general store. Awesome friends, awesome area, a great 5 days of rest and relaxation. As Jeanne say's a little piece of heaven.
