No new photos to offer, just another dot on the map. We spent the 25th in Bemidji, MN, home of Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox or so they say. Stayed 26th at another small campground in Sixton, WI, funny story about that one.
We were headed for Ironwood, WI but found a campground called Frontier about 22 miles shy of that and were tired, checked the campground book which gave Frontier high marks for cleanliness, bathrooms and such. We looked it over, not too crowded, nice trees so we decided to stop. Once we set up I rechecked the name of our campground...it was Frontier Bar and Campground, not the same one as listed in the book...not listed at all. However we had AC, water and sewer and we were set up...all was well...and everything turned out fine even if it didn't measure up to the one listed in the book!
We left yesterday am and arrived at St. Ignace, MI around 4/5:00 (we lost another hour, changing finally back to eastern time zone). Decided to hang out here today and head back to Canada, Sturgeon Falls, tomorrow. Will retrace our coming out steps at this point. Had thought we'd take a different route back but it would mean an extra day of travel and there's really nothing along that route that we're pining to see (at least not that we know of). We're really sorry to see this trip coming to an end...oh, well...there'll be another one (not this far) another time.
Love to you all...see you in Keene in a few days.
