| We have arrived safe and sound and considerably weighed down with alcohol. Come on.... 3 bottles of Domain Chandon for $55 total! Rob and I did the only sensible thing and got a 3 pack each and then sent the niece over to get one herself.... come on, she's 19, that's totally legal! Took my sleeping pills on the plane and got a solid 5 hours with a couple of other hours snoozing, so felt quite good when we arrived hideously early this morning. Have had our first culinary experience in Brick Lane. Totally underwhelming Indian - particularly when I'd heard of this street in relation to the Indian restaurants that line it, and Britain's reputation for really good Indian. Never mind; a bit of the Ab Fab Olympic Special and then time to have a real sleep. |
