We didn't want to waste a full day to travel so we hit the 6am train to Praha with 2 hours sleep. Man we've been pumped for Prague, no city in europe has gotten so popular so fast, it has an outstanding reputation by tourists and backpackers. Ro and I jar a running joke of our 'Triple Entendre' of cities (Budapest, Prague and Berlin) being the craziest cities for sights and nightlife. After number one checked off, we were psyched for number 2. When we got there it was a radical difference from budapests train station, meaning it looked like civilization! We got going right away and grabbed our first tasty Czech beer (they invented the pilsner). We then walked through old town to Charles bridge which had a tonne of unique czech medieval/baroque architecture. Charles bridge itself was a sight to behold, it was fairy tale-like going over the river and looking up to the castle during sunset. We continued back to the hostel but stopped by wensceles square (named after the king of Xmas fame). The street was massive and looked familiar from all the old history footage of uprisings during the soviet era. We got a lot done on what was supposed to be a travel day. We miss the hungarian food (the best I've had anywhere) but we're excited for some walking/beer tours and exploring the Jewish quarter
