Kilkenny walking street

The river at Kilkenny

On day two off to the Rock of Cashel - a ruined cathedral and fortification built from 400 to 1200 AD - amazing place - then to Kilkenny and wandered around what is probably the quintessential Irish town - pubs and shops and all sorts of ancient buildings. The funny thing about this was that i had lost the directions to the B&B, but in driving into town I just came upon it. Quite remarkable!
