I guess they get some snow here

We arrived at the Renaissance Hotel on the Riedersee above the village of Garmisch, Germany after working our way down from Austria. We were a little nervous about crossing the border because we never got our Austrian visitor's pass (long story), but hay, why not have a little adventure with border guards. Anyway, we made it without a problem. Againk thanks for your prayers.

Nestled against the Austrian border/Alps, this is truly a beautiful place. The Riessersee (lake) is basically green, full of huge fish, and is surrounded by breath-taking views. Wonderful meals and a studio room with AC has made this our most relaxing stop. AH-H-H-H...

Tomorrow. we're off to Ludwig's castle...the original Disneyland landmark.
