Justin and Mat's European Adventure!!! travel blog

Right off the bat... Id like to say that Italy is one of the coolest country's I've been thus far. There is so much culture and flair! On the second day in Rome, mat and I took a train to the coast to check out the Italian beach. To my surprise, it wasnt a sandy nudest beach I have always thought Italy had. It was a calm rocky beach. Im sure they have really nice sandy beaches somewhere, but what we had was good enough for us. The water was incredibly warm! And the whether was hot as hell!! Since the time ive been in Italy, the heather hasn't gone below 70. Sounds cool, until you actually have to walk in the heat for most of the day. ;). After a great time in Rome, we took a train to Venice. Like most would think, the streets are canals and the cars are boats.... I was thinking... In the states when you turn 16, most kids look forward to their first car and drivers liscens. What about kids in Venice? Do they look forward to their first boat?? Or boating liscens?? Haha. While the rest of the world drive to work and school, venicians boat to their destination. Haha. Anyways... Venice is beautiful! There are so many cool artistic mask shops, glass shops, and leather shops as well. Although Venice is a huge tourist center, if you make your way deeper into Venice you are able to avoid the chaos of tourists and actually see Venice in its true form. Getting around Venice is vertually impossible. It's like trying to navigate a corn maze. This is what makes Venice great! Around every dead end and corner there is something to be scene. It's a city where you want to take a picture of absolutely everything!! Every bridge and canal is something out of a movie or painting.. It's stunning!! After our time in Venice we took a night train to münchen, where we then took a bus to Prague. And yes, it's covered by the eurail. It was cool seeing the transition of landscape. From the flat Italian landscape to the chilly green mountains of Germany. It's a sight to be seen! We are in Prague now staying in a cozy vintage hostel called sir tobby's. It's really cool. From our walk to the hostel from the metro, Prague didn't look like much. Can't wait for tomorrow to see what the buzz is about.
