| Can not believe we have been here almost 2 months. We have been very busy and had some big camps. Last week altogether we had 729 campers. We delivered food to 140 of them. I took one of the staffers into town to the doctor Friday which is the day I usually wash the staffers shirts so Donald got stuck with the job. He ended up washing and folding about 145 shirts. We don't have any campers up on the hill this week so we think we are on vacation. We did get in the pool today of course Donald was suppose to be cleaning it. With the temperatures being over 100 degrees it sure did feel good. We will have one more week to deliver food and then we are thinking about moving back to Brandenburg for the fair and then get on the road again. Planning on heading out west. Maybe South Dakota, Wyoming and everything between here and there. Then work our way back to Texas for the winter. May take three months to do that. If you have been reading our blog you know we don't get in any hurry. Cassidy had her dance recital last night she does such a good job and she always looks so cute. She dances to Boogie woogie bugler boy. It is really different from the other dancer so I think she really stand our. Sounds like a proud grandmother doesn't it. Plan on taking some pictures of camp this week and will try to get them posted. Really looking forward to our next adventure. |
