| Not much to report today. LONG travel day - we left Walmart around 7:30am and pulled into the campground at 6:30pm. We caught up with our friends before they had a chance to do any more touring without us. I've told them can keep running but we can catch them. LOL The drive was long but easy - nice road and not much traffic. The scenery was beautiful -the green, lush plains of the midwest. We did see buffalo but pretty far off in the fields. We did have two episodes of so many bugs hitting the windshield and splattering that it sounded like a hail storm. We thought we might have to pull over to clean it so we could see to find the campground. It's a lovley cool night - needed a sweater to be out. It's 10:15pm amd still very light out. Early bedtime even for me. Good night. |
