Well, the people from Florida were right. We have never seen so many eagles at one time before. We were seeing one now and again and it was hard sometimes to get a picture of them.
Nothing like this. They were everywhere. As soon as you took one picture another one was there.
At some point you could see four and five eagles at one time. So many of them, and just soaring above us.
We took a walk down the beach and were taking pictures of the ones flying and we looked at the cliff behind us and eagles were perched every where.
Cindy said that it was two of her favorite things, the beach and eagles. We also had a wonderful, day to see them. Warm and sunny.
The next morning when Cindy opened the curtains on the camper an eagle was setting right outside the camper. We looked down the beach and all you could see were eagles setting everywhere.
It sure was nice for us to sit and drink our coffee and watch the eagles on the beach.
This has to be our favorite place to camp so far. There had to have been 30 to 50 eagles all total.
Well were getting ready to move again. Next update will be about the trip to Palmer, Alaska.
There were several volcano’s across the inlet from us (Cooks Inlet). One of the volcano’s was active in 2009, Mt Redoubt.
Thanks for following along with us. We are enjoying the trip, and happy to be posting for everyone to see.
Love, Roy & Cindy
