| Greetings, all. Having trouble finding a place to post photos in Scandanavia, so perhaps next week. Left Italy, where we stayed for free in a nice villa provided by our friends, the bar owners. Then spent a night with no sleep in a sweaty, loud hostel near the train station. Renee went to see her sister in Germany, and Alyssa and I flew to Stockholm. Man, mucho expensive here. Rented some bicycles, to tour around, and had a drink in a bar made entirely of ice. Chairs, tables, glasses, everything. They give you parlas and gloves! Pics later. Got bored here, so we hopped a small cruise ship and went to Helsinki, Finland for a day. Lovely weather, nice jazz concert in the park. Now back in Stockholm, in a small hostel which is actually a boat floating in the harbor. Beautiful views of the old architecture lining the water. Off to London tomorrow for some proper Guiness, then to Egypt. Pics coming soon! PS: I have learned to say beer in four different languages already! |
