Alex en Europa 2012 travel blog

Today was finally the end of Spain, a country has never tired me out so much. Overall it was an interesting culture but one I don't know how to feel about. On one hand it's a very fun and passionate culture but after learning  a lot about its history and things like bullfighting and football it comes across a bit intense and sometimes violent. It was another bus day but we made it to Avignon for a nice picnic dinner, it was great to have cheese, liver and wine by the broken bridge at Avignon. I went out on my own and saw the old papal palace as well as a great view overlooking Provence. A dozen castles in the background and a typical French countryside was a breathtaking reality check to confirm where I was. We got back to the hotel where everyone had a pool party an hung out with wine. I went to bed early cause of my ongoing cold. France looks fun so far, not as many snobby ppl as we've thought
