Alex en Europa 2012 travel blog

No way was I getting to the bus this morning. I was over my cold but Spain's night has got a few of us. Myself and 2 girls from calgary went to see the cities über-cool gaudi architecture ourselves at our own pace instead of sit on the bus again. We saw the Catalonian architect Gaudi's apartment buildings and absolutely MASSIVE sagrada familia cathedral. His buildings were astounding in their designs after nature's fluent lines, all of his structures look like they're melting. These places were the first major tourist areas I've seen..aka pickpocket heaven. There were 3 instances in our group of attempted steals, including me the night earlier (all they got was snotty kleenexes they thought was a cell phone!) After these areas we walked to park guell which had a great view of the city and more super architecture by mr. G. We caught up with the group and saw a cool flamenco show with dinner (gypsy inspired Spanish dancing). We also caught a few drinks in a super sketchy area off the main drag (not my idea) and all had the first real sleep on the tour.
