The roads have improved and we were able to average 60 mph and drove our 350 miles in 7.5 hours with a lunch stop.
Joanna saw 4 black bears and I saw 2 of them.
There was a section of approximately 30 miles of logging along the side of the highway. We also saw about 20 logging trucks on the highway headed for the logging section.
We are now in Houston, BC. at a real nice campground. As we drove through Houston there was a train sitting on the track with a number of cars holding wood chips. Our phones are not working in British Columbia. We should be in the state of Washington by Thursday (June 21) afternoon and then have phone service again till we get home in July.
Tomorrow we are getting an oil change and then it will take us about 4 hours to drive to Prince George, BC. where we plan to camp at a Casino parking lot for the night.
