Light rain and temperatures in the 40’s this morning. I downloaded more software updates for my computer and my laptop. Very slow Internet connection this morning.

It stopped raining about noon and warmed up into the low 60’s.

I went into Fort Nelson and stopped at the “Ye Olde Quilt Shoppe” to see if they had anything my daughter-in-law might like. Some nice quilts but very expensive - $199 Canadian for 4 X 6.

I stopped at the Visitor’s Centre and one of the individuals who worked there gave me a tour. Quite an impressive building. Two hockey rinks, a curling rink, and they are putting in a pool. They have a lot of free brochures for the larger towns north of here on the Alaskan Highway. It seemed awfully large for a town the size of Fort Nelson.

Across the street is the Fort Nelson Heritage Museum. A lot of old cars, trucks, artifacts, etc. Very interesting.

13.1 SUV miles today.
